Dominique Chan is the Head of Gallery & Exhibition at Asia Society Hong Kong Center and responsible for exhibitions in the Chantal Miller Gallery and on-site public art installations. Chan has organized a diverse range of exhibitions presenting the multi-faceted arts and culture of Asia. From ancient religious artifacts to contemporary art of South and East Asia, traditional arts and craft to contemporary design. Chan has brought to Hong Kong solo museum exhibitions of many of today’s most important international artists, such as Xu Bing, Yoshitomo Nara, and most recently Shahzia Sikander. Collaborating with other major arts institutions, such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Chan has worked closely with many artists and curators to conceptualize curatorial visions, execute exhibition content, and produce academic publications. Chan is the recipient of the 2013/14 Hong Kong International Scholarships supported by the Government of Hong Kong through the Hong Kong Arts Development Council to join the Clore Leadership Program in the United Kingdom and seconded at Tate Modern in London.
