Books can be ordered securely from this website. Online payments are handled by Jetco, which accepts Visa, MasterCard and UnionPay. Hong Kong University Press will not have access to your credit card information at any time during or after the transaction. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Please note that we have distributors worldwide, and customers can save significantly on shipping by ordering through them. In particular, customers in North America should order from Chicago University Press, and customers in Europe should order from Ingram Publisher Services UK.
Author Orders
If you are a Hong Kong University Press author or volume editor, the easiest way to get your author discount is by entering your discount code to apply the discount to your full order. The author or volume editor can obtain the discount code by logging in to the author portal. If you have forgotten or never received a login credential, contact your acquisitions editor to help you. Please note that the author discount only applies to books published by the Press, not to books distributed by the Press. Returns
Hong Kong University Press does not accept returns. If you receive a damaged book or your order was incorrectly filled, please contact customer service to make the appropriate arrangements.
E-books
Many of our titles are available through Amazon Kindle, Google Play and Kobo. You can go to these platforms and find our titles. You can also use the buttons on the book’s webpage on our site to purchase the e-book directly from that vendor.
