Browse Forthcoming New Series — ArchAsia: Histories and Futures of Asia's Architecture, Urbanism, and Environments
Series Editors: Cole Roskam (University of Hong Kong) and Lawrence Chua (Syracuse University)
This series examines buildings, cities, and landscapes in Asia in their multiple, complex, and diverse formations. It engages with historical and contemporary examples of designed and destroyed environments found throughout the entire continent and pays particular attention to the cultural, material, and geographic conditions that have shaped those environments over time. The series also aims to shed light on significant if historically overlooked figures who contributed to architectural and urban change within the region, including Asian architects, planners, developers, and other cultural workers.
